I was privileged to experience Merle’s latest workshop intensive and enjoyed both immediate and profound effects.

Merle has a gift for ‘conscious and emotional intuition’ which allows him to see those things that we refuse to see buried inside of us.

I had been caring an ‘emotional block’ inside my inner child for over 57 years regarding issues around boundaries with women and authority figures in my life. Within two days Merle allowed me to see my challenge and help me learn how to feel the boundaries of this block and learn to not only self-correct myself, but to also learn to stand in my power with confidence by using the word No and No More.

I am already experiencing the effects of reclaiming my space, my power, and defining where I stop and others energetic field begins.

I highly encourage anyone facing emotional, psychological,Spiritual, or karmic blocks to consider a ‘lovingly powerful way out’ through Merle’s workshop intensive.

Merle Yost’s skillful and sensitive teaching provides important, and usually neglected, information about boundaries. Over time, I have realized that helping clients (and myself) actually understand boundaries is the most basic element of our work in therapy. I particularly liked Merle’s experiential focus. We learn instantly when we experience something, in our own bodies, in the moment. His Gestalt approach was integrated into my own work with clients the very next day. Colleagues who have taken the course have been 100% glad they did, including myself.
— Marilyn J. Owen, LMFT Santa Barbara, CA
I took this experiential workshop and gained tools that I found immensely useful. I learned that I can still have empathy for my clients’ issues, but without getting sucked into their problems.

Whether their stress is about their taxes or other personal issues, I learned techniques of how to listen to my clients and be there for them, and still keep good boundaries.

Sometimes we provide more of a service then just putting numbers on a form; we have to be able to help our clients navigate various challenges in life. As tax professionals, we learn about our clients’ health, from their high medical expenses, or perhaps there’s an upcoming divorce.

When situations are very stressful for our clients, they might want to talk about emotional issues as well as financial ones.

This workshop taught me how to recognize when a client might not have good boundaries, how to listen and be supportive of the client, and how to keep my own boundaries even if the client was struggling to keep theirs.
— Jay Schnyder, EA
The boundaries workshop was nothing short of transformative for me. The exercises Merle facilitated gave me a very clear experience of what my own energy is and how I experience it in relationship to others. Merle has a particular gift of being highly attuned and perceptive during the exercises, which was so validating and brought a deeper knowledge and trust in myself.

I now have newfound clarity around how I can relate to others in a way where I feel more safe and protected and don’t take on their energy. I also came away from the workshop with a much keener awareness of the sensations and feelings in my body, and a deeper experience of my spirituality. I highly recommend his workshop!

My experience with the Unspoken Boundaries Workshop had an immediate and lasting impact on my professional and personal life. As a therapist and empath, I found myself unable to recover energetically from a typical workday. I have practiced many self care methods between clients, but nothing compares to the tools I developed around my own energetic space. Where I stop, someone else starts. How can I avoid merging my clients’ energy with my own and still connect to them on a empathic level?

Merle’s gentle but direct guidance is instrumental in looking at energy blocks that keep you from living your best life. His intuition and clairvoyance are carefully implemented with the purpose of healing and bringing peace to his clients. Whether your relationships are personal, professional, or other, his workshop is a must and I highly recommend it.
— Sonia Diaz-Ebadi, LMFT
I attended Merle Yost’s workshop on therapeutic boundaries. As a therapist I was searching for a way to keep my own energies after a work day and not need two hours of nap time… What I experienced was so much more! Merle took us through basic information about the group and what to expect. Then we got down to work. The experience exceeded all of my expectations. I entered the group a spiritually hidden guy and finished on a whole new adventure. Expect the workshop to be part instruction on needed skills for therapy, and more than part kind, safe, personal therapy. If you want to learn why Merle thinks this kind of work is fun, and not stressful, sign up!!!!
— Bob Schetter, LCSW
I’ve been working on developing boundaries for years, but found what I learned in a day at Merle’s boundaries workshop to be life-changing. I was always feeling beyond my boundaries to try to stay safe. Not only did changing that habit increase my energy and intuition, it also gave me insight into others on a deeper level. Merle is extremely sensitive to every nuance that occurs in his workshop. Even if a participant avoids experiencing an emotion, he’s aware and can help guide them to healing. Beautiful to experience, and beautiful to watch the process unfold in others.

The Unspoken Boundaries Workshop speaks to the significance of boundaries in the therapeutic relationship. It also helps to heighten one’s awareness to the energetic boundaries that exist in all relationships. I highly recommend this training for professionals who wish to deepen their personal presence, expand their energetic container or reclaim personal power. Merle has a unique way of offering his gifts through simple yet profound exercises and didactic exploration. He is highly attuned and sensitive to the energetic experience which often goes unnoticed and is left “unspoken”. Merle offers participants the space and tools, for communicating this essential language. I personally had some profound shifts in awareness and my work deepened from the experiences in this workshop, even having a background in the material. At any level, this workshop can bring valuable information and insight. I think of it as a gift. Thank you.
— Lily Jaser
Merle’s Unspoken Boundaries Workshop was transformational! Living as a highly sensitive person and empath, I found myself exhausted after social interactions, people-pleasing at my own expense, and losing myself in relationships. This workshop gave me tools and practices to use on a daily basis to help me maintain personal boundaries, protect myself, release unhealthy patterns, and relate in an easier way. The experiential practices and personalized attention got right to the heart of my wounding and helped me move through it quickly and gracefully. Merle’s kind and playful presence created a safe container to heal on a deep level while having fun. I highly recommend this work to anyone who wants to heal and grow, personally, professionally, and relationally.
