Unspoken Boundaries: Boundary Sentinel Workshop
With 2.5 Hour Continuing Education Credits

“Boundary Sentinel” 2.5 Hour Credited Workshop
Boundary Sentinel is the introductory level workshop for learning the basic concepts of Unspoken Boundaries, the daily meditations and first aid tools. This workshop mostly takes place in institutional settings as there is a very low vulnerability requirement. Length of this workshop is 2-2.5 hours.
This workshop has no breaks, all of the time in the workshop is awarded CE Credits.
Merle Yost, CEPA Provider No. 23236, is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor Continuing Education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs. Merle maintains the responsibility for the program and all its content. CE Credit will be awarded after the completion of the course in exchange for a completed course evaluation form.
This course meets the qualifications for 2.5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
No CE’s will be awarded to persons arriving late or leaving early. Partial CE credit will not be awarded.
“A continuing education hour is defined as a 60-minute hour. Continuing education credit shall be awarded only for instructional time . Lunch and other breaks shall not be included in total time awarded for continuing education credit. Courses must be a minimum of one continuing education hour, in one block of time.”
Participants must sign in at the beginning of the meeting, sign out at the end of the meeting and be present throughout the training in order to receive CE Certificates which will be provided at the end of the program.

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR:
Merle Yost, MA, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Mr. Yost received his MA degree from John F. Kennedy University in 1991. Mr. Yost is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of San Francisco in 1991. He is a graduate of the Menla Healing Program: Tibetan Buddhist Psychology and Energy Healing in 2017. Merle was licensed in 1995 as an LMFT. He is also an EMDR Approved Consultant.
Mr. Yost was in private practice for 25 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has done extensive training on Men Sexually Abused as Children, Intimacy, EMDR and other topics. He has been a supervisions and consultant for many years. He is a lifetime member of CAMFT and founder of Gynecomasita.org

Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to identify 2-3 observable cues that a client’s energy and their own energy is dysregulated.
Participants will be able to describe the difference between merging and joining with clients and how merging negatively impacts client and clinician.
Participants will utilize and be able to teach clients 2-3 exercises they can use to manage their energy and maintain boundaries
